USS Savannah, w/subs alongside Starboard Bow at Ponta Delgada, Azores

Savannah steaming along US Coast, Note says you can see stern of sub 1300 yards in front of Tender at far left horizon.

USS Sub 0-9, (SS-70), following in wake of Savannah, coming into Bermuda.

Ponte DelGada from USS Savannah as it enters port

City square of ponte DelGada……Note Sailors sitting behind lampost at center right, oxcart in foregroud. Also note what appears to be crane and stack at background, could be Savannah tied up at port?

Picture of my Grandfather, Sam Hindman, on sub, tied up alongside USS Savannah. Originally thought he was tall fella at right of conning tower, but postcard says he is at far left…..Far left of connning tower or sailor at far left of card in sub?
(Additional info on card looks to say they were leaving Savannah, GA on Jan. 27, 1919, Then Jackonsville, FL, Key west, Cuba, Haiti, West Indies?, then back to Boston on May 11th?, till July 1, then New London, CT to stay?)

Picture of USS Savannah, in the Charleston Navy Yard, with Subs 0-5, (SS-66), 0-6, (SS-67), 0-7, (SS-68), 0-8, (SS-69), and the bow of 0-10, (SS-71 sticking up out of the water. (Looks as if 0-10 is just starting to break thru the surface, but not sure?)
